Nottingham City University Hospital

The £6.6m cystic fibrosis centre at Nottingham City University Hospital sets a new benchmark in patient care.

The Wolfson Cystic Fibrosis Centre will transform the care of a group of young patients by creating a ‘home-in-hospital’, where patients can receive treatment in one place and also feel comfortable, or ‘at-home’ during long hospital stays.

Airwave supplied and installed a patient entertainment system to match the ‘state of the art’ facilities available at the new CF unit. The latest Samsung LED 46” TV screens were installed alongside XBOX 1 consoles with Kinect, offering an interactive, enjoyable and most importantly, fun experience for the patients.
