Assisting in the design, build, support and integration of wireless, LAN and interactive hospitality TV systems & networks, James works across all areas of Airwave’s business.
Experience and Background
James’ background is predominantly in event wifi and networking infrastructure. Ahead of joining Airwave, he worked on the European golf tour, designing and installing public wifi and networking infrastructure for golf tournament buildings and facilities. This work was interspersed with the occasional commercial installation within corporate buildings in the South East.
A big lover of bikes and riding, one of James’ first jobs saw him work at a bike shop. It was here that he fell victim to a prank on a Jeremy Beadle style television show, the (hilarious) details of which, unfortunately, are censored in the name of good taste.
Such was his trauma, he emigrated to New Zealand, then Australia where he surfed during lunch-breaks (don’t tell his boss) and avoided creatures that wanted to kill him (most things).
