Trolley Mounted TV
This is still a favourite method of display in many areas where wall or ceiling mounts are not practical.
Typically:
- In Children's wards where TV's are available for use with other devices such as DVD or PS2 which can then be 'shared' between patients.
- ICU - where a TV is NOT required all the time for a patient, space is at a premium and medical equipment rightly takes priority for wall and ceiling space. TV on trolleys can be stored and brought out as and when requested or required.
- Modular or temporary wards where ceiling or wall strength is not adequate
