At last! A Smart AND Hygienic Healthcare TV solution
Airwave Healthcare are proud to add the new Samsung range of healthcare TVs to our Patient Entertainment solution portfolio. We gave Samsung feedback from our customers about specific healthcare requirements and they developed what we consider to be the perfect TV solution for Hospitals and other healthcare establishments.
Available in either black or white finish, the LCD/HD 4 Series range from Samsung has built in Freeview, and available in a choice of 19”, 22”, 26” and 32” screen sizes. Airwave Healthcare can advise on the best fixing solution for your hospital be it wall, ceiling or arm mounted. The Samsung range is suitable for both standard Freeview over coax or IPTV.
Complimenting the TV, Samsung has now launched their PureCare remote control which is simple to use, easy to read and most importantly fully wipeable. This white PureCare remote is supplied as standard with their white TV’s and can be purchased as an accessory with black models. (Some existing Samsung TV’s may also be compatible, please contact Airwave Healthcare for further advice.)
The PureCare remote control also incorporates a multi set up feature making it a must for multi bedded areas. Samsung healthcare remotes can be set to up to ten different codes preventing cross changing of channels and volume settings in bays and Nightingale wards.
Traditional remotes with raised buttons are difficult and time consuming to clean and research has shown just how unhygienic a remote control can be. Infection Control departments have been asking for this type of TV remote to help prevent cross contamination between patients, staff and visitors as just about everyone in hospital handles the TV remote. The Samsung Hospitality TV range includes further features such as EPG channel listings (channel blocking if required), a welcome page, volume limitation and TV settings lock down.
