Articulated Wall Arm Mounted TV

Gas Assisted type

articulated-wall-arm

The wall bracket is to a solid wall behind or to one side of the patients bed. The articulating arm fixes into the bracket. There is 360 degree swivel movement at this joint.

The bracket allows the TV to be angled, even to a horizontal position which will allow patients to view TV whilst lying flat, this joint also swivels up to almost 360 degrees with a stopper so that cables are not twisted too far.

All cables are managed through the sealed unit which is easily cleaned having no dust trap or sharp areas.

Power and coax (or data if IPTV system) sockets should be positioned as close as possible to the wall bracket to avoid trailing wires, although mini trunking can be fitted where necessary for a smooth finish.

Whilst gas assisted arms are touch sensitive and very easy to adjust, the optional handle fitted behind the TV enables the user to manoeuvre the equipment effectively without the need to touch the TV at all.

Any make or model of TV can be fitted to these arms including TV with DVD if that option is preferred (though not recommended by Airwave for use in general public areas such as hospital wards, often the TV of choice in Hospices). We recommend 19" screens and that in multi bedded areas the patient uses headphones, plugged into the TV audio out socket.
