St Dunstan’s Llandudno

25 June 2013 13:38

Built in 1902 by the Forrester family as a convalescence home for shale miners this magnificent building in Llandudno is the newest centre for St Dunstan's due to open in September 2011 which includes a high dependency unit called the Poppy Wing.

This centre promises to be another fantastic addition to their overall facilities and has been renovated and refurbished to bring out the best of this building. The 40-bedroom Llandudno Centre, will complement the existing facilities run by St Dunstan’s in Brighton and Sheffield.

Keeping it simple for the visually impaired user; large icons on screen and an intuitive, bold, Airwave remote control allow all guests’ access to TV/Radio/VOD/services

TV’s in all 40 bedrooms are wall mounted on a double arm bracket which enables the TV to be pushed flat to the wall or adjusted to the optimum viewing position depending on the user’s needs. 42” TV’s are also available in the day lounge, bar area, multi-function rooms and the staff restaurant.

Complimenting the wide choice of TV channels, the IPTV installation includes a large selection of national and local radio channels.
